Creative Kids Tales Writers' Festival 2019
It's on again!
I know I said there would be only one but seriously look at the amazing line-up for next year's festival. How could I not?
Our next theme is INVEST.
When you INVEST, you put time/money/effort (usually a combination of these) into something, looking for a return that will be greater than the input.
For some, important returns might be:
•Sense of achievement
With the help of our presenters - Jackie French, Jacqueline Harvey, Deborah Abela and Emma Quay we will cover a variety of topics to strengthen your investment and increase your odds for healthy writing returns.
The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) will also be joining us for a special presentation.
Whether you're emerging or established, our presenters will inspire you. They'll address your many questions; even those you didn't know you had. Get ready to network, learn and to take your writing to the next level.
We've also invited along eight publishers to help with your manuscripts – Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Little Pink Dog Books, HarperCollins, Wombat Books, Big Sky Publishing, Christmas Press and Sue Whiting. Emma Quay will be doing illustrator assessments.
We'll have a bookstall on the day where you will be able to purchase titles from our presenters and also our CKT members.
Every attendee will again receive a goody bag, and there might just be cupcakes again too.
There will also be a book launch thrown in!
Be sure to follow all the festival announcements on the CKT Network Group Facebook page. We'll be running some exciting competitions in the lead up to our next festival.
