Deano the Donkey

Deano the Donkey is in quite a pickle.
Inside his nostril has started to tickle.
He wiggles and waggles his head to and fro,
He sniffs and he snorts and then tries a big blow.
The tickle won’t shift and he’s going berserk.
Whatever he tries just refuses to work.
He sits on his bottom, not sure what to do,
When all of a sudden… ah…ah…ah…
C-H-O-O-O-O-O-O!
Now Cleo the Milk Cow is covered in goo.
It’s green and it’s slimy and sticky like glue.
It drips off her ears and spreads over her nose.
Some slides off her back and plops onto her toes.
She looks at her foot and gives it a lick.
‘Oh bluh! It tastes awful and makes me feel sick.’
Her tummy starts churning. She lets out a moo.
‘Uh oh,’ says Cleo. ‘I’m going to...
S-P-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-W!
Now Pinkie the Piglet is covered in chuck.
It’s gross and it’s smelly and all kinds of yuk.
‘What’s Cleo been eating?’ she cries in dismay.
Her body is dripping in gloop mixed with hay.
A roll in the dirt makes it smear through her hair.
She gives a good shake. Chunks fly through the air.
‘It’s so disgusting! I need a good wash.’
She dives in the mud with an almighty…
S…P…L…O…S…H!
Benny the Blow Fly is feeling annoyed.
‘It’s not fair!’ he fumes. ‘My plans are destroyed.
I was so looking forward to tasting fresh poo,
Instead I’ve been dodging the mud, snot and spew.
I need a warm place I can curl up and hide.
Ah yes, that looks perfect.’ He flies up inside.
He checks his new home as he strokes the soft fuzz,
And settles right in with a satisfied...
