Michelle Ripari
Michelle Ripari began her career as a primary and special education teacher and has always loved children's literature and illustration, with writing and illustrating her own books a large part of her childhood.
Years later after an injury at work and reevaluating her life and love of drawing, Michelle now works as a full time fine artist, and is lucky to have won awards and been published internationally numerous times.
Residing in Melbourne with her husband and four children, Michelle also facilitates classes and workshops for children, teens and adults. Including corporate, organisation and community group workshops and school incursion workshops. Michelle was one of the founding members of the Australian Society of Coloured Pencil Artists which was established in 2014 and is secretary.
Although not formally trained and entirely self-taught, Michelle is continually developing her skill with her preferred medium of coloured pencils, creating works that are highly realistic and detailed. Michelle looks forward learning new mediums and focusing on developing her illustration skills.
