Hi, my name is Sharon Boyce. I have always loved to read and lose myself in faraway lands and magical places, sharing in the adventures of the characters. Creative writing was my favourite part of English at school and it was my Year 8 English teacher who suggested I become a writer.
I am a registered nurse and work part time in a children’s ward. I’m married with three big children and squeeze in writing between my responsibilities.
A few years ago, I completed an online course - Professional Writing For Children (highly recommend it) and it was this that sparked me into thinking about writing more seriously.
