The Pirate Who Had to Pee written by Tim Miller and Matt Stanton
Published by HarperCollins Australia
The newest offering from dynamic storytelling duo, Tim Miller and Matt Stanton is The Pirate Who Had to Pee.
Poor Pirate Pete has to pee and the toilet on board Captain Bones’ ship is out of order.
All around him Pete can’t escape the trickling sounds of water. From the tattooed mother loving pirate watering his plants to the puddles on the deck. Of course the ocean doesn't help nor the cat mopping the top deck.
When he tumbles down the waterfall it simply becomes too much, Pete can no longer hold on!
He walks the plank to relieve himself of his most persistent issue but a mermaid swimming below cries out in horror.
It’s a long way from where the ship set sail to island on the map. Pete directs the ship to the place marked with an ‘X’. Ahhh relief at last!
Each vibrant illustration tells of Pete’s plight and being at Sea for a Pirate who needs to pee is not an enviable situation.
Now, off to the bathroom!
This is a great picture book perfectly suited for the 2 – 5 year market.
