Unplug and Play by Brad Berger

In this modern world of tablets and smart phones the simple things in life can get lost among all the technological noise. Unplug and play - 50 original group games that don't need charging is the answer many families are looking for; how to spend some family time in a fun and cost effective way. This book provides 50 fun games that require virtually nothing but pen and paper - you can't get much cheaper than this!
Among the 50 games are a variety of game types including testing "player's ability to strategies, bluff, read minds, memorise, think quickly, and solve puzzles. No texting, tweeting or surfing allowed!" One of my favourite games was "who drew that" which can be played with four or more players. Each of the players draw the same drawing and the aim is to disguise their drawing style to try and guess which player drew which picture.
What I particularly liked about this book is the size, its compact and travel friendly and I can easily imagine taking it on holidays or long car drives. The games are written in a fun way that will have you laughing along for sure.
Unplug and play is for the young and old alike and is completely family friendly in this modern world. It would also be a great accompaniment at a party, barbecue - basically any social gathering you can think of! A must have for any household for hours of fun.
