There are so many relevant and current themes for young people explored amongst this book love, betrayal, grief, self trust, finding meaning and oneself amongst the madness of life. I was totally engulfed by the story and characters Lili Wilkinson really takes you on a journey into the depths of what life amongst a cult would be like and how easy it would be to get mixed up in something so sinister, unaware before it’s too late.
We all have things in life we must overcome and this book really sheds light that amongst the dark of situations we must always keep walking towards the light no matter how far off track we go, we can always make it back.
