Count on me - Practice your Counting by Jeanette Row
Published by Bonnier Publishing
Count on me - practice your counting is a colourful experience and helps bring mathematics to life for the young reader. Readers, with the help of a parent or independently for the older child, will be able to practice a host of skills including counting practice, count by ones, numbers in order, count in mixed groups, learn number names, trace, copy and write numbers and draw and count.
Count on me - practice your counting is a delightful book for any child needing a little of extra help in the maths department. I love the mixture of styles of learning mixed in with the gorgeous pictures which are sure to help keep the child's attention.
The best part of this book is the interactive nature, with the child encouraged to write the answer in the books pages after working out the problem. My favourite section was "draw and colour" where you have to draw and colour in three more cats and four more butterflies.
This is well worth a look, and I recommend for any child that learns by doing rather than hearing. Bright, colourful and educational - the perfect book!
