My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish - Jurassic Carp by Mo O’Hara
Published by Pan Macmillan
Frankie is the one-of-a-kind big fat zombie goldfish. His owner Tom decides to take Frankie to the medieval day. While they’re there they see a suspicious looking knight who’s causing all types of trouble. Frankie decides to try and stop the knight. But can he do it in time?
In story two, another fish just like Frankie is found fossilized. The head scientist of this finding is keeping a deep secret from Tom and Frankie…
I think this book is pretty good, the detail and action parts especially stood out to me. Some parts are a bit boring, but otherwise I like the concept and the idea overall.
My favourite character in the book is Frankie, the big fat zombie goldfish. I like how he is silent but comes up with good ideas.
My favourite part in the book is when they joust with the suspicious knight; it’s a little bit funny and quite entertaining.
In conclusion of book one, I think this book is suitable for all ages and is fun and there are only a few dull moments.
I think that book two is not as good as book one, but it’s still good. It has its humour, and then the action. I think it’s suitable for any reader.
As the same as book one, my favourite character is Frankie, he’s pretty smart and funny in this one, and he also gets a bit jealous in some points…
My favourite part of this book is when the little ‘evil’ but cute kitten, Fang, comes up with a plan to get rid of the fossilized Jurassic Carp.
In conclusion of book two, I think anyone who loves a good laugh and action, this is the book for you. With minimal boring parts and lots of action, overall it’s a pretty good book.
