The 65-Storey Treehouse by Andy Griffiths
Published by Pan Macmillan
SWIRL!! 'Have we gone back six and a half years?' I say. 'Oh no,'Terry says. 'We've travelled 650 million years back in time years back in time!'
Join Andy and Terry on their latest adventure in the treehouse series. In book five of this awesome adventure we will see their quest to get their building permit six and a half years ago, but since a faulty chronometer they get taken 650 million years ago!
Will Andy and Terry get home before the excavators arrive to demolish their treehouse?
Andy and Terry to have created a funny fictional book about themselves, A faulty time machine and the 65 story treehouse as well as inspector bubblewrap a high security building inspector that is sending excavators in to destroy the treehouse.
My favourite part is the future of the future because In the future Terry switches off the giant crab exterminator so in the future of the future there are giant crabs everywhere.
The funniest part was when Andy and Terry clone themselves to build a safety ramp so they can get the building permit back. But instead of the safety ramp for the disabled they made a danger ramp for the disabled. The danger and had quicksand, rings of fire and a huge angle grinder.
I would say it is recommended for anyone who can enjoy a little laugh but it is mainly for people aged 7-12.
In this book they introduce a new character called inspector bubblewrap. At first he turns out to be quite annoying but later on he becomes their friend.
This book had me laughing for hours and the illustrations were very good I also liked it because it was written by my favourite authors and illustrators. I reckon you will like it.
