Kizmet and the case of The Smashed Violin by Frank Woodley
Published by Penguin Books
I read Kizmet and the case of the smashed violin. This book was written by Frank Woodley a comedian. I have not read one of his books before.
The story is about a girl named Kizmet, her bird friend Gretchen and her detective dad Spencer. They are working on finding out who destroyed a very important violin. They work together as a team, with each of them helping along the way to discover the answer.
This book was not something I would usually read. I thought the characters were interesting, but didn’t really get into the story. The drawings were very good and there were some funny bits. I liked that the story was written in the bird’s voice.
Maybe someone who enjoys detective stories would enjoy this book.
