This book gives the reader and understanding the lives and times during tremulous the 1965 freedom ride.
Two boys from different cultures and backgrounds both with their own issues come to accept each other. You will find this novel is of a very important time in Australian history where indigenous Australians were misrepresented and unfairly treated.
This novel it is very well written I learned of the freedom ride from this novel. This book brings to light an understanding of difficulties and hardships faced by indigenous Australians and although I never really understood what the conditions were like I feel like I have an increased understanding.
